    Mpeketoni Secondary School outwitted Taita’s Chala Secondary 5-1 in boys football as the Coast Provincial Secondary Schools Term Two “B” games started yesterday. Mazeras Girls humiliated Madogo Secondary from Tana-Delta 7-0. Mpeketoni scored first through Francis Shauri in the 8th minute before Chala’s Seif Athuman equalised in the 14th.

    Abdulrahman Ali made it two in the 25th minute. Shauri was back on target hardly ten minutes into the second half. Mohammed Sadaka earned the team the fourth goal fifteen minutes later before Ali made it five in the 88th minute. Mazeras Girls’ striker Constance Charo gave her team the first goal in the 11th minute before forward midfielder Mwanaisha Ndurya made it two five minutes later.

    Charo got the third in the 33rd minute. The second half saw Madogo faced a flood of goals as Charo and Ndurya got two more each.

    Other matches in the boys category saw little known Mwavumbo Secondary from Kinango district beat Lamu’s Kipini Secondary 5-3 while Madogo succumbed to Msambweni district’s Ramisi Secondary 1-2. Ngala Girls from Watamu fell to Kilifi Mixed 0-4 as Shimbo from Taita outweighed another Kilfi School, Bahari Girls 4-0.
