Congo United beat Magongo Rangers 3-2 to be crowned this year’s Ngano Taifa Soccer Champions at Mombasa Sports Club grounds.
The Amon Mwamburi lead Congo side which remained in Mombasa to do the finals of the Mombasa Maize Millers tournament, got their first score through captain Ramadhan Mbuguss in the third minute.
But Magongo Rangers who displayed a highly technical game equalised through Mohammed Kassim in the 31st minute in the tense game. In the second half the Kenya Premier League side Congo United got a second goal through Mbuguss in the 60 th minute.Rangers again equalised through Alphonce Musa before Mwamburi struck the 82nd minute winner.
