Seven out of every ten public health facilities have no capacity to conduct normal birth deliveries according to a report by the division of reproductive health.

Isaac Bashir who heads the division says even fewer facilities have the capacity to perform cesarean sections.

The report further reveals that up to eighty percent of mothers die simply because they fail to seek medical care after delivery at home.
