MULTI-CHOICE Zambia Limited has pumped K29 million into this weekend’s Saint Andrews’ congregation of the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) fundraising golf tournament in Ndola.
It is the sixth time that Multi-choice has partnered UCZ in sponsoring the annual golf tournament, whose proceeds would go towards uplifting the welfare of the underprivileged in society.
Multi-choice public relations manager, Marlon Kananda said in a press statement yesterday that his firm decided to support the event again because the programme was meant to better the community through construction of a multi-purpose centre in Ndola.
Kananda said in a similar event last year, Multi-choice in partnership with St Andrew’s church and helped renovate a house for the vulnerable.
