Mogadishu — At least two persons, including the driver, had been killed and three others injured after truck overturned over in Afgoye corridor, a home for thousands of IDPs who fled Mogadishu years ago.
Witnesses said the car accident came as the driver was speeding the truck and immediately turned off the road.
The wounded people were rushed to the medical facilities in the Somali capital Mogadishu for treatment. However, it is not the first time such fatal accident to take place in Afgoye corridor.
In Somalia, car accidents are routine and that is attributed to drivers who had no enough experience for driving as the roads are very rough and broken.
Somalia has not had any central rule to repair the streets and resume other social services since 1991.
