Galka’yo — The president of Somalia’s regional Gal-mudug state, Mohamed Ahmed Alin has designated some of his new cabinet on Thursday.
The president spelled out that he had chosen them for their knowledge and experience.
The named incoming cabinet ministers include:
1. Abdullahi Jama, the minister of finance
2. Dr. Hussein Sheikh Nur, the minister of health
3. Abshir Dini Awale, the minister of interior and home security
4. Mohamed Ali Nur, the minister of international cooperation
Late last month, the president of the regional state of Galmudug in central Somalia has fired his entire cabinet, the governors of Mudug and Hobyo areas and the chairmen of all districts amid growing insecurity and poor performance.
