Royal Nairobi has a rising number of single-figure handicap golfers who have to play under par scores to win any stableford competition against middle- and high-handicap golfers.

Among the single-figure handicaps to contest for a place in the grand finale are national team player Jay Sandhu.

He will team up with handicap two Sylvester Odunga, handicap three Josia Kogo and handicap four Kasamu Malonza Kasamu.

who is playing off four. Club captain Mugambi Murwithania himself one of the single figure handicap golfers says his members have been preparing for the event since March.

“This is one event which has elicited a lot of interest and players are very excited and looking forward for it”.

Murwithainia, who tees off shortly after 1pm will team up with the Dasani team led by the Coca-Cola East Africa general manager Peter Njonjo, Joseph Kahuko and Gerald Kamau.
