Amadou Jawo is a foot into the next phase of Europa qualifying phase after Elfsborg ran-riot on CS Fola at home.
Jawo is among a few Gambian players participating in the Europa Cup. The striker has been regular of recent with Swedish giants in the league but was listed as a bench-warmer by his side.
Hijilmark raced Elfsborg to the lead with only five minute ticking into the first-half and Elm added to make it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Larsson put in the game’s hat-trick in the 36th minute.
As time ran out, Elm put the final touches to wrap up the romping, as Elfsborg wenrt 4-0 on aggregate in the first-leg. The victory will seal them a ticket to the next phase if results remain this way during the second leg in Luxemburg.
Demba Savage whose club was in action in the Europa league with Estonia club Kajul starred for the entire minute but got cautioned by referee in the 90th minute in a game that ended 0-0.
