    Malabo — The Angolan ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Armando Mateus Cadete, considered on Thursday as excellent in Malabo city the diplomatic relations between both countries.

    The diplomat said to Angop that these relations with the central Africa country are dated since the beginning of the independence struggle of Angola in 1975 and five years ago these diplomatic ties were strengthened with the opening of embassies in the capital cities of each nation.

    In addition, the ambassador said that this mutual relationship has been enabling a greater dialogue between the two governments, with regular meetings between both heads of state at bilateral level, Gulf of Guinea and African Union (AU).

    He said that Angola may co-operate with Equatorial Guinea in various sectors such as agriculture, oil, mining, education, culture.

    According to him, these sectors will gain more and more dynamism as there are already signed sectorial protocols.
