All 24 finalists including African champions Nigeria have until July 15 to submit a final 21-man squad for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Officials informed MTNFootball.com that all the teams for the U20 World Cup in Colombia are expected to comply strictly with this directive.
The teams are to pick their final squad from a provisional list of 30 players they had submitted to FIFA earlier this month.
The U20 World Cup will kick off on July 29 with the opening match between 2009 beaten finalists Brazil and African flag bearers Egypt.
Africa’s other representatives are Nigeria, Cameroon and Mali.Ghana cannot defend their world crown after they failed to reach the knockout stage of the African Youth Championship in South Africa between April and May.
