Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has admitted that he may have to leave the club this summer if it becomes clear that he will play even less next season.
The Dan had been Stoke’s first choice custodian in their previous two Premier League campaigns, however last season Bosnian shot-stopper Asmir Begovic took over as No.1 at Stoke.
In his first two seasons at the Britannia stadium, Sorensen played 69 times in the league, missing just nine matches over the two years, however this past season he managed just 10 appearances in the Premier League as he was mainly restricted to the cup competitions.
Sorensen is quoted by Danish newspaper B.T. as saying: “I am happy to be at Stoke and as long as we can find a good solution, I would like to stay.
“But it is always flattering to hear that other clubs are interested.”
West Ham are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation as they look to part ways with Robert Green.
