Tottenham are increasing their interest in Stuttgart centre-back Serdar Tasci.
Manager Harry Redknapp is believed to be a huge admirer of the Germany international and is hoping to make the £12 million-rated defender his newest addition at White Hart Lane.
The 24-year-old was subject to a failed transfer bid last summer but the London club are apparently not the only Premier League side showing interest in the German international.
His agent Maurizio Gaudino told The Sun: “Tottenham and two other English clubs are keen on Serdar.
“No discussions are yet under way, but it’s down to the interested clubs to speak with Stuttgart and myself.”
Tasci is reportedly considering his options after a twelfth-place finish with Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.
He was born in Germany to Turkish parents so was able to pick which nationality to represent, ultimately choosing to play for the German national side.
The defender was picked in his country’s 2010 World Cup squad and made his debut appearance at the tournament coming on for Mesut Ozil in the 91st minute against Uruguay.
