Osun NASS members assure on Aregbesola’s cabinet

The people of Osun State have been assured that Governor Rauf Aregbesola would constitute his cabinet in a matter of days.Members of the Osun State chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the National Assembly gave the assurance yesterday in Osogbo, the state capital while addressing a press conference.

The governor has been widely criticized by the opposition in the past one week, for not putting in place the state executive council eight months after he became the governor.

But the spokesman of the group, Hon Lasun Yusuf said that the governor in conjunction with the leaders of the party had already put in place process that will bring about a representative and all-embracing cabinet made up of qualified hands for effective service delivery.

“What Aregbesola has done in seven months surpasses what his predecessor did in seven and a half years and the people will begin to feel and reap the benefits of the actions soon. In a matter of days the state executive council will be in place,” he said.

Yusuf, however stres-sed that the state government will not allow itself to be stampeded because it is not a self-serving one, but rather a focused and determined one that will deliver the expected bountiful dividends to the people.
