THE General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has deplored the poor state of major roads and highways in the country.

Represented by his aide, Pastor Goke Aniyeloye, at a press conference in Lagos, the renowned cleric called on elected politicians to keep to their electoral promises. “They should as a matter of urgency see to the rehabilitation of our roads, especially the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Sagamu-Benin Expressway, Lokoja-Abuja Road and Okenne-Otukpo Road, among others,” he stated.

On the issue of the ministerial nominees, he prayed that God grants “our President the wisdom to appoint those who will serve this nation faithfully and genuinely.”

He announced a special prayer session for the first born at the Headquarters Church on Redemption Way, Ebute-Metta, on Sunday, July 3, 2011.

According to him, the session had become necessary because “every first born is meant to be the might, strength, bread winner with excellence of dignity and power of the family.

“This has, however, being reversed by Satan by fighting most of the first born to look like the last born of the family. It is our belief that all those who attend the prayer session will be restored to their rightful positions in Jesus name,” he said.
