Ghanaian female hip-life star, Nana Akua Amoah,popularly known as Mzbel whom we reported some weeks back of assaulting a Police Officer and how she was remanded in prison custody and charged with eight counts including assault on a public officer from performing his duties has revealed her own side of the story in a recent interview.
“What happened was, my driver got down to change some money, and then my PA sat behind the driver wheel – and the police came and asked for his driver’s license and he told the Police that is not the driver, so the driver came – provided his license and the Police says his arresting us because the other guy didn’t have a license.
We tried not to pay him attention, but the officer dived in front of the bonnet that he wasn’t going to let us go. It was like a drama, and then people surrounded the car and before I realized, many Policemen came and took us to the station.
The police officer started lying saying he wanted to teach me a lesson that celebrities don’t respect Policemen, so they locked me up.
