Luanda — The national referees are attending as from Monday to Saturday a training in Luanda, aimed at upgrading their knowledge.
This training is an initiative of the Angolan National Referee Council (CNA), under the proposal of the African Handball Confederation (CAHB), before the holding of the national senior males and females championships to start on Sunday.
The training action is being led by instructor of CAHB, the Gabonese Achille Batchi, who is aged 40.
Speaking to the opening ceremony of the course, the chairperson of the Angolan Handball Federation (FAA), Pedro Godinho, said that the referred training aims at update theoretically and technically every national referee.
Check the names of the referees who are attending the training: Carlos Roberto, Felisberto de Sousa, Armando Ferreira, Benjamim Tiago, Afonso José, Elvito Gomes, Pedro Pinto, Francisco Agostinho (Luanda), Sebastião de Almeida, and Felisberto Tchinguelesse (Benguela).
These referees will officiate in the 32nd national senior handball championship.
