Several supermarkets and shops in Nakuru and Kisumu towns are about to run out of their stocks of maize flour.
Residents say some supermarkets are not allowing customers to buy more than 2 kilos of the commodity each.
As a result of the shortage the price of Unga has also gone up. Millers are warning that maize flour will run out in the next 15 days.
