Luanda — The Angolan writer Kanguimbo Ananás said on Thursday in Luanda that the need for a greater divulgence of the infant literature for children to have more and better knowledge on the subject. Speaking to Angop on the state of children's literature in the country, the writer said that there are a lot of children are not informed about the existence of some children's books in the country.

Huambo — The Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) is working on Friday in Mungo district, central Huambo province, in the ambit of the framework of the second stage to investigate alleged cases of political intolerance and violation of human rights in the region, claimed by the MPs of the opposition UNITA party.

The Parliamentary Inquiry Commission, which is comprised by MPs of MPLA, UNITA, PRS and FNLA, worked in the districts of Tchindjendje, Longonjo and Ekunha.

In Mungo district, the commission, led by the MP Hígino Carneiro, will hear the representatives of the local civil society on the alleged cases of political intolerance.

On Saturday, the commission, comprised by MPs of MPLA, UNITA, PRS and FNLA are working in Huambo city to hear next Tuesday the first secretary of MPLA in this province, Fernando Faustino Muteka and the provincial secretary of UNITA, Liverty Chiyaka.

In the first phase, held on 5-12 last May, CPI carried out hearing sessions to officials of political parties and representatives of the local civil society on alleged cases of political intolerance in the districts of Bailundo, Tchicala-Tcholohanga, Caála and Ukuma.
