As we celebrate Children’s day and Father’s day, it’s a time when we encourage parents to bond with their kids in all their activities including exercising. Exercising with your kids is just a good way to get your heart pumping and burn calories, it is also a great way to build family bonds.

Former West Ham and Portsmouth manager Avram Grant has said he would like to manage again in English football, despite his poor relegation record over the last two seasons.

Grant was the manager as the Hammers finished bottom of the Premier League last term, just one year after he took Portsmouth down into the second tier of English football.

Grant told The Sun:  “I want to be involved in football, as I like it very much. And I especially want it to be in England.

“Anywhere I can create something is good for me. I like to create things.

“This is my profession and my hobby, so I hope I will be involved in football again soon.”

Grant also gave the new West Ham manager Sam Allardyce his backing, adding:  “I think he is a very good manager, an experienced manager, and it is a good club for him.

“I’m sure he will use the opportunity and do his best for West Ham. He is a good choice.”

After taking charge of Chelsea in September 2007, Grant took the west Londoners to the Champions League final, the League Cup final and contested the Premier League title to the last day, but was still sacked at the end of that season.

He resigned after being relegated with Portsmouth in 2010, and was appointed manager of West Ham in June of the same year.  Grant was famously sacked just hours after the Hammers’ penultimate match of the season – a 3-2 defeat by Wigan Athletic season that confirmed their relegation after they’d led 2-0 at half-time.
