QPR manager Neil Warnock has admitted he would consider selling star player Adel Taarabt but not until January.

The 22-year-old shone for QPR last season as they secured promotion to the Premier League and, as exclusively revealed by Goal.com earlier this week, has already been the subject of a £10.6 million bid from Serie A side Lazio.

“You take it with a pinch of salt. I read this morning he fancies Chelsea and Arsenal, so hopefully he will turn it on against these clubs and get himself a move,” Warnock said in an article in the Daily Mail.

“I’ll probably have had enough of him by Christmas, so hopefully he’ll score 10 or 15 goals by then and get himself a move.”

QPR will begin their quest for Premier League survival against Arsenal and Warnock is just pleased to have another chance at managing at the top level.

“It doesn’t matter who you play, the Premier League is where we all want to be. It’s just fabulous to be involved” Warnock said.

“I think the thing is to try to play without fear.”
