The Gabrielle Onwuachi Foundation (GOF) has concluded plans to organize a Charity football match on Sunday, 19 June.
The match, a brain Child of the founder of the Foundation, Benjamin Chukwuka Onwuachi will pit his friends against current MTN Lagos Street Soccer champions, Bablo FC.
The Kavala of Greece top scorer has lined up a host of his friends including Joel Obi of Inter Milan, Ifeanyi Emeghara of Steaua Bucureti, Michael Chukwuwike Odibe of FC Sudtirol on loan from A.C. Siena, Christian Obodo of Serie B side Torino, ex international Victor Okechukwu Agali, Fatai Babatunde and John Jaycee Akwani (Both Bahrain Internationals) amongst other Stars to battle against the Bablo FC.
The match will be played at the Campos Square mini Stadium, in Lagos Island.
Meanhwile, the Foundation Wednesday donated medical equipment worth N.5m to the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
The Items include, Oxygen concentrator, the machine that resuscitates infants with breathing problems from a day old to five years, infants’ lung mediators, oxygen Gauge, Ambu Bags and Nebulizers.
The former Juventus of Turin Striker also shared different toys to Children in their wards to the delight of their parents.
