Ghana youth international Samuel Afum is attracting interest in Israel with Ashdod believed to be leading the pack for his signature.
The youngster has enjoyed a terrific campaign with Alexandria-based Smouha FC and reported to be on the radar of the Israeli side who want to sign star players to revamp their campaign next term.
Smouha lie at the bottom of the Egyptian Premier League table with six games remaining and their current situation could prove the catalyst for his imminent departure.
”Yes I know there are some club’s who are interested in me and I would love to move on. But it all lies in the hands of my club Smouha because I’m still contracted to them,” Afum is quoted as saying.
Meanwhile Spanish outfit Espanyol and Real Zaragoza are rumoured to be monitoring the situation.
