A 40-year-old farmer of Likpe-Mate, Prosper Kodjo Honu, has defiled a seven-year-old girl and an eight-year-old girl, and has been arrested by the police.

Officer, told the GNA that the suspect allegedly defiled the
seven-year-old girl on June 5 when someone saw him performing the act
in the bush.
In the other instance, Honu is alleged to have defiled his
adopted daughter when the victim revealed to her aunt that Honu
defiled her on two occasions. Mr Acheampong said victim resisted her aunt’s attempt to clean her private part when she was giving her her bath because she was in pain.
She revealed her ordeal after persistent questioning because Honu
had warned her she would face consequences if she revealed her ordeal
to anyone.
