GTBank CEO, Tayo Aderinokun dies in London

The Nigeria Cricket Federation have invited 23 players to camp ahead of the ICC African Premier T/20 Cricket League Division One billed for Uganda. The team which is dominated by members of the victorious national team that gained promotion to the ICC World Cricket Leagues Division 6 saw the return of former captain, Dolapo Gafar and Seun Odekwu to the national team. Others invited include include captain Endurance Ofem, Kunle Adegbola, Ademola Onikoyi, Segun Olayinka and Emmanuel Okwudili.

Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer,  GTbank, Mr. Tayo Aderinokun, Tuesday, passed away in London after a protracted illness.

A statement from the bank announcing his death said, “With a deep sense of loss, but with gratitude to the Almighty God, we write to notify you of the passing on to eternal glory of our dearly beloved Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Tayo Aderinokun who had been on Medical Leave, passed on this afternoon, Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in the United Kingdom.
