14 June 2011 Luanda — The Police recorded 23 various crimes in the last 24 hours in Luanda, more seven if compared to the previous day.

Luanda — Nine power transformation stations were destroyed on Monday, following a fire occurred at the distribution centre in Luanda’s Cazenga Municipality, ANGOP has learnt.

The spokesman of the national civil protection and fire service, Faustino SebastiÃo, said the fire was caused by a short circuit, having also destroyed various electric cables.

Various areas of the municipality are facing power shortage, due to the fire that fortunately has not claimed human victims.
