A man was burnt to death after he was found with stolen goods at London area near Narok town. The residents attacked the suspect with his accomplices when they found them ferrying the households’ goods on a wheelbarrow.

The suspect was corned by the mob which beat him up before setting him ablaze. The other suspects escaped death by a whisker as the police came to their rescue.

Narok OCPD Peterson Maelo said investigations into the killing had been started. Maelo said no arrest had been made and urged the locals not take the law in their hands. “I call upon the residents of Narok to report any criminal incidences to police authorities instead of taking laws in their hands,” Maelo said.
