GEOFFREY Kusuro finished fifth at an event in France but still qualified for the World Championship due in South Korea.
The runner clocked 13:14.02 in the 5000m race to become the 11th athlete to hit the grade for the world show slated for August.
The qualifying mark for the event is 13:20.00.
He joins colleagues who qualified already — Moses Kipsiro, Moses Kibet and Abraham Kiplimo (5000m), Benjamin Kiplagat and Jacob Araptany (3000m steeplechase), Annet Negesa (800m), Sarah Nambawa (triple jump), Daniel Chepyegon, Stephen Kiprotich and Nicholas Kiprono (marathon).
