Mennonites stunned Strathmore University 67-60 in a premier league clash at Nyayo National Stadium.
The loss ruined the chances of Tony Ochieng’s boys moving up the table. A win would have seen them close in on the top four sport. In the lower division games payed at the same venue, World Hope dismissed the visiting Kisumu Lakeside 79-63.
Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) matches played at the Railways Club saw Kenya Airways hanged on to their unbeaten run when they managed a 62-56 win over upbeat Legacy.
The losers just failed to cause an upset after Kelvin Kimuati missed four late fouls shots.KU Pirates dismissed Don Bosco 46-45 as Collins Wekesa made 14 points. Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) beat Multi Media University 42-31 while Neosasa Morans beat Friends of Basketball (FoB) 43-30.
