Shamed Manchester United Star Giggs Offers Brother £250,000 To Shut Up

SHAMED Ryan Giggs is trying to gag the brother he betrayed – with £250,000 hush money. Giggs, 37, will pay up if van driver Rhodri signs an agreement not to make any bombshell revelations.

A pal said: “The last thing Ryan wants is more sex secrets coming out.” Manchester United legend Giggs bedded Rhodri’s wife Natasha for eight years. A source close to Rhodri said yesterday: “He’ll almost certainly know if there were other girls in his brother’s life.”

The footie star last night appeared close to success with his hush-money offer. Rhodri is now being represented by a legal team from Schillings, the firm that charged Giggs a fortune in a failed bid to keep secret his affair with Big Brother star Imogen Thomas.

And if Rhodri is using lawyers way beyond his financial means it suggests Giggs has persuaded him not to reveal more sex secrets.

Rhodri, who has been staying with actor pal Will Mellor, yesterday emerged for the first time in three days looking stoney-faced. Asked if he had spoken to Giggs recently, he said: “Yes I have.” Rhodri is said to have been mulling over the cash offer during his time with Will, star of TV’s Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

The source said: “Rhodri is telling people Ryan wants to shut him up. The figure on the table is a quarter of a million. “Poor Rhodri feels utterly betrayed by Ryan and doesn’t know what to do for the best. “He’s been through hell. He’s not exactly rolling in cash, so £250,000 would be very useful.

“But there’s also a part of him that wants the world to know just what Ryan is really like – and it’s not the saintly image he’s cultivated. “Rhodri knows Ryan better than anyone. He knows where all the bodies are buried.

“He’s in turmoil about this. But at the moment it looks like he is going to keep his mouth shut and sign whatever legal documents need signing. He’s going to be gagged by his own brother.”Welsh winger Giggs, awarded an OBE in 2007, has fled to a Mediterranean hideaway with wife Stacey, 32, and their two children. He wasted a fortune on super-injunctions to stop him being named in The Sun as Imogen’s lover.

The plan backfired after he was outed on Twitter – and days later Natasha revealed their long-running affair. Rhodri’s marriage to Natasha, 28, is said to be beyond repair – especially after The Sun yesterday told how she also bedded ex-Manchester United players Danny Simpson, Phil Bardsley and Dwight Yorke and a nightclub promoter.
