Dobi, who stated this during a reception organized after his inauguration at Gwagwalada, noted that traditional rulers are the custodian of peace in every society and their roles must be spelt out.
He explained further that the purpose of governance is to affect positively the lives of people by providing basic necessities of life.
“I have strived to ensure that some of these basic amenities of life are provided in some of our communities across the four area councils, through the constituency project,” he said.
According to him, the struggle for emergence of a better FCT has just began and very much on course, noting that the situation of people in the FCT is very pathetic compared to what is obtainable in other states of the federation.
The re-elected member therefore, expressed appreciation to people of his constituency for re-electing him to represent them at the National Assembly and urged them to continue to be loyal to constituted authority. He also informed residents that he will operate an open door policy, adding that his door is always open for advice that will move Abuja south constituency to a greater height.
