    Luanda — An agreement for voluntary repatriation of over 40,000 refugees in DR Congo will be signed Wednesday, in Kinshasa, by local, Angolan and UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) officials.

    Angolans journalists learnt on the information on Tuesday, in Kinshasa, from the department chief of refugees of the Social Welfare Ministry, Alfredo Leite Pinto, on the sidelines of the experts meeting that brought together Angolan, DR Congo and UNHCR officials.

    The meeting, held in Grand Hotel, discussed matters related to practical modalities for repatriating those Angolans still living in DR Congo.

    According to the source, the agreement will only be signed after hard debates on the matter among the officials of the three involved parts in the process.

    The document will be signed by the Angolan Social Welfare minister, João Baptista Kussumua, the deputy minister and Home Affairs of DR Congo, Adolphe Lumanu Muana Nsefo.
