Menongue — The Social Welfare deputy minister for Assistance, Maria da Luz, started Tuesday a two-day visit to the south-eastern Kuando Kubango province, to learn about the functioning of the sector.
Shortly after her arrival, the official held a courtesy meeting with governor of Kuando Kubango, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira, along with the vice-governor for political and social sphere, Pedro Camelo and the provincial director of Social Welfare, Modesta Nguve.
During her stay, the vice minister will visit the projects of Mbembwa centre, a centre sheltering the disabled people of Kavikiviki, the elders house in Hoji-Ya- Henda neighbourhood as well as a meeting with social stakeholders.
Integrating the delegation are also the consultant Humberto Costa, the technician on child affairs, Catarina Minchinge and the expert of the Statistic and Planning Office of the Ministry, Samuel Mondiangue.
