Luanda — The ambassador of Cape Verde to Angola, Domingos Mascarenhas Rua Oliveira, Tuesday, in Luanda received precise information on the preparation of the electoral package for the upcoming elections to be held in 2012 in Angola.
According to the diplomat, who was speaking at the end of meeting with the minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Norberto dos Santos “Kwata Kanawa”, he was informed on the efforts which the Angolan Government has been undertaking in order to adjust the electoral laws with the Constitution, in force a year ago.
During the talks, he said, they also exchanged views on the role of the Ministries of Parliamentary Affairs of Cape Verde and Angola, as part of the relations between the Executive and Legislature.
He added that an Angolan technical delegation will move next September to Cape Verde, in order to get experience of the sector in the Island nation country.
