Zesco United coach, Fighton Simukonda says his charges have been polished to complete this weekend’s job against Maghreb Association Sportive (MAS) of Morocco in a crucial Orange CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 return leg.

Carrying a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg, Simukonda believed Zesco had the necessary ammunition to knock out MAS before their partisan crowd in the Moroccan city of Fez on Saturday.

Simukonda said in Ndola yesterday when he announced his final 18-member squad for the North African assignment that the players had been working hard in training and were ready for the tie.

He was optimistic that the Zambian envoys, 2011 CAF Orange Champions League dropouts, would prevail over MAS and reach the group stage of the Confederation Cup competition.

“They boys are ready. We’ve prepared adequately for this match,” Simukonda, whose side bowed out of contention from the Champions League at the hands of Egyptian giants and six time African champions Al Ahly, said.

Simukonda has made two changes to the squad that beat MAS in the first leg at Trade Fair ground in Ndola following the suspension of international defender, Nyambe Mulenga, who has accumulated two yellow cards.

The former Zambia trainer and international central defender has also left out midfielder, Matthews Chikwete from the return leg.

Lanky midfielder, Kondwani Mtonga and Stanley Nshimbi are the inclusions to the team that leaves for Morocco today.

The full squad has:

Goalkeepers: Jacob Banda, Chansa Kabwe.

Defenders: Billy Mwanza, Chalwe Kabamba, Daudi Musekwa, Rodgers Kamwandi, Yona Mwango.

Midfielders: Sydney Kalume, Clifford Chipalo, Potipher Zulu, Kondwani Mtonga, Kangwa Chileshe, Stanley Nshimbi, Innocent Mwaba, Arthur Kaseloki.

Strikers: Jackson Mwanza, Derrick Kabwe, Nicholas Zulu.
