The world food program will not be expanding its feeding operations even after the government put the number of people facing starvation at three million.
WFP’s Rose Ogola says this decision will only be made after WFP conducts its long rains assessment sometime next month. This means that close to four hundred thousand Kenyans will have no access to relief supplies either from the government or international aid organizations.
Ogola however says the humanitarian agency has finally received the funds it was lacking to feed the 1.6 million Kenyans on their program.
