Mogadishu — Witnesses on Sunday morning said that one of Somali government soldiers gunned down a woman in her home in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Residents said that Kaho Hajji Mohamed was shot dead after she and another woman of her neighbor disputed.
The neighbor has called upon soldiers to interfere the issue but later it turned into shootout.
Locals confirmed to Shabelle that that she was killed in home while she was with her husband and children.
The soldier, who perpetrated the murder action had escaped from scene soon after the slaying.
The deputy district commissioner of Dharkenley, Yusuf Ahmed told Shabelle that insecurity has been rampant in the last few days, saying government soldiers and local clan militias have been the main factor of the repetitive insecurity activities.
Ahmed called for the transitional federal government to disarm all armed soldiers and militiamen in the district of Dharkenley in southwestern Mogadishu.
