Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido has issued a hands-off warning to clubs interested in midfielder Diego Perotti, although confirmed that there has been contact from English clubs.

Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly keen on making a move for the Argentine although Del Nido insists the La Liga club do not want to sell.

“He is not for sale. Clubs in England and Italy have called us to ask about him,” Del Nido told reporters.

“But our answer remains the same. He does not have a price because we do not want to sell,” he added.

Perotti moved to Sevilla from Argentine side Deportivo Moron in 2007, initially playing for the Sevilla B side, but has since made 73 appearances for the first team, scoring 34 goals.
