THE Director of the National Planning Commission (NPC), Tom Alweendo, recently led a Namibian delegation to the biennial negotiations between the Government of Namibia and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The negotiations were held in the cordial spirit and reinforced the commitment of the two governments to strengthen cooperation three focal sectors namely: natural resources management, sustainable economic development and transport.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, Alweendo, met the German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Dirk Niebel.
Niebel told Alweendo that recognizes its historic responsibility towards Namibia and pledged his country’s commitment to continue implementing a friendly development policy between the two countries.
