QPR are lining up a double swoop for Tottenham duo Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Keane as Neil Warnock attempts to get some Premier League experience into his line-up before the beginning of the new campaign.

Jenas has been on the periphery of the Spurs team towards the end of this season and according to the Sunday Mirror, QPR could secure the midfielder with a bid in the region of £7million.

Jenas started just 14 of the club’s Premier League games this season and with the impending arrival of Scott Parker from West Ham United, Jenas would see less game time next season.

Keane is also a reported target for QPR as they seek a proven goal scorer for their return to the top division. Spurs are also said to be keen to be rid of the player who spent the second half of the season on loan at West Ham.

Spurs would like Keane’s reported £65,000 a week salary off their books to help fund other possible transfers into the club.

It is likely that any deal for Keane would be a loan move rather than a permanent switch.
