Luanda — Luanda acting governor, Juvelina Imperial, said that her Government counts on cooperation of the inhabitants of the country’s capital in the implementation of the outlined actions, aimed at increasing the quality and living standards of population.
The Luanda official expressed the desire at the opening ceremony of the 2nd Council of Inquiry and Social Concert of Ingombota district for this year.
The governor considered important the participation of district residents in implementation of the programme worked out by Luanda government.
“Luanda is an extremely complex city to judge that what have been done already satisfy the residents. We can realize that we managed to convey sense of trust to the population and it is evident on daily basis”, emphasised the governor.
According to her, currently it is possible to see changes of practices, behaviours and the attitudes of the majority of citizens, a reflection of participation of resident dwellers in the treatment of matter related to the city.
Juvelina Imperial, who is also vice governor for political and social sphere, acknowledged that the commissions of dwellers can be a privileged stakeholders of State in resolution of basic social problems of population.
