Dw3 Ends Testimony in Moses B Johnson Richards Case

Modou Colley, a photographer and the third defence witness in the case of Barrister Moses B Johnson Richards, who is charge with giving false information to a Public Officer and Sedition, on Wednesday, 1st June, continued to testify before acting Principal Magistrate Alagbe Taiwo Ade of the Banjul Magistrates’ court.

Senior counsel Antouman Gaye, representing the accused person, alongside Segga Gaye, reminded the court that at the last adjourned date he made an application to tender photographs together with their negatives but the Director of Special Litigation Daniel O Kulo objected and applied for an adjournment and that he was supposed to come with reasons of his objection.

State counsel Simeon Abi told the court that he has been directed by Mr. Kulo to withdraw the objection and which was granted by the court. The photos and their negatives were then admitted and marked as defence exhibit A1.

At this juncture, senior counsel Gaye told the court that this was all he had for DW3.

State counsel said he has no cross examination for the said witness.

The Magistrate ordered that the sermon file by Counsel Gaye be served to Junkung Colley, the Director of Physical Planning.

The matter was adjourned to Monday, 6th June, for continuation of hearing.
