Administrator Notes the Significance of Endeavors to Put in Place Service-Rendering Institutions

Agordat — The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mussa Rab’a, said that the putting in place of various service-rendering institutions in Agordat sub-zone over the past 20 years amply demonstrates the commitment of the people and the leadership. He made the remarks in a meeting he conducted with Assembly members, area and sub-zonal administrators, heads of branch offices of ministries and others in the sub-zones of Dige, Forto-Sawa, Mogolo and Mensura.

The Administrator highlighted development activities carried out in the region in general and Agordat in particular, and that encouraging outcome has been registered in expanding infrastructure and social services. He also called on the public at large to enhance participation in development undertakings.

Mr. Awrelio Jokamino, Administrator of Agordat, said on his part that new residential houses, water supply projects, schools, health stations and vegetable marketing centers, among others have been made available. He added that nationals who used to live in many areas have now bween regrouped in communities, thus being in a position to benefit from social services.
