Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has reversed his decision to retire from international football on Friday.
The ex-Blackpool shot-stopper issued a threat to retire from playing for the Black Stars this week after an angry ourburst.
Kingson, Ghana’s safest pair of hands, was infuriated by an abusive fan who watching the Black Stars during their training sessions in Accra.
The fans hurled foul-mouth insults at the goalkeeper when he allowed in a soft goal.
Kingson threatened to beat up the player until team officials intervened before he issued the threat of qutting the national.
But after speaking with the head of the Black Stars management committee, Kingson has decided to stay on with the national team.
Kingson is expected to start during Friday’s game against Congo.
