Khartoum — President of Malawi and current Chairman of the African Union, Dr. Bingu Wa Mutharika, has affirmed his support to the unity of Sudan which can not be divided for the unity of the African continent.
Dr. Mutharika renewed during his meeting Thursday with the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, at Al-Fatih Tower Hotel the stance of his country in support of the Sudan.
Meanwhile, the State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Karti, described in a statement to the press the meeting between Taha and the President of Malawi as very important and touched on Sudan’s unity as well as the unity in the Africa.
Karti explained that the Chairman of the African Union, Dr. Bingu Wa Mutharika, rejects holding of the so-called the International Criminal Court to a conference in Uganda, and affirmed his support to Sudan’s stance in rejecting the decisions of the ICC.
