President Kibaki says islands of Migingo and Ugingo belong to Kenya and there is no negotiation with Uganda whose troops have occupied them.
The president has also announced that the government is ready to provide security in the two islands and other Parts of the country.
Kibaki, who has been silent over the controversy, however says the country would opt for diplomacy rather than use of force to resolve disputes with its neighbours.
