Luanda — The first president of the Luanda Provincial Football Association (APFL), Manuel Furgier dos Santos, was honoured Tuesday here by the current management.

The homage that was part of the celebrations of the APFL’s 30th anniversary was attended by about 200 people, among sports officials, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, coaches, players and guests.

Manuel Furgier dos Santos was born on January 25, 1933, and lead the APFL from 1981 to 1982.

Until the current president, Domingos Tom¡s, elected on August 9, 2008, the APFL was chaired by the following officials.
