By Dayo Johnson AKURE— A 13 year old Junior Secondary School JSS 1 Student Yusuff Ibrahim in Ondo State  was, yesterday, offered scholarship to the University level by the state government for his honesty by returning a bag containing the sum of N180,000 he found on his way to school. This came after eight students were expelled by the state government few weeks ago for defrauding the government and were prevented from sitting for their final examination. But government has promised to reabsorb the expelled students after they might have forfeited a year as punishment for their fraudulent behaviour.

THOSE WHO claim Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is not serious about her
presidential ambition should have to revise their notes.

Credible information from the camp of the former First Lady indicates
Nana Konadu is bent on unseating President Mills as NDC flagbearer for
2012.

Nana Konadu is expected to file her nomination forms for the big
Sunyani contest today (Wednesday.)
The former First Lady has switched base from Accra to the Volta region
in recent days, DAILY GUIDE learnt.

She is reported to have canvassed more support during her usual
interaction with delegates in the region.

Nana Konadu is billed to cut short her stay in the Volta region and
return to Accra either on Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning
for the filing.

President Mills’ nomination was filed by some known NDC women led by
Barbara Asamoah on Monday.

It seems Nana Konadu’s filing would follow similar trend as reports
indicates the former First Lady might not file herself.

The paper gathered that some known Nana Konadu loyalists would file
the nomination on behalf of the former First Lady tomorrow.

Incidentally, today is the deadline for filing of nomination by
contestants for the NDC presidential seat.
