German-born Kevin-Prince Boateng trained on Ghanaian soil for the first time on Tuesday, one year after switching nationality to play for the West African country.
The 24-year-old arrived on Monday night and was present at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium for the team’s final exercise in Accra before emplaning for Kumasi the next day.
The former German youth international reported with a physical trainer from the Milan medical team.
Boateng, a star the 2010 Fifa World Cup finals, was aggressive at training and likely to earn a starting role on the right wing of midfield.
He won the Scudetto with Milan this term and had his future sorted by the club.
