Blackburn managing director Tom Finn is leaving his role after 15 years with the Premier League club.
Finn’s role is expected to be taken on by Paul Hunt, who has joined the club as deputy chief executive.
“While sad to be moving on, I believe the time is right for me and the club,” Finn, who was initially club secretary, said in a club statement.
“The owners Venky’s Group are putting in place their plans for how the club is to operate going forward.”
