Kampala — Bunnamwaya defeated Victors 2-0 while Utoda shocked KCC 1-0 at Nakivubo and Wankukuluku stadiums respectively in the Ecobank Super League yesterday. Striker Tony Odur and Kizito Luwaga scored in either half for Bunnamwaya to move level with second-placed KCC on 47 points.
Luwaga headed past Victors’ custodian Ali Kimera on 28 minutes to give Bunnamwaya the lead and when Victors missed a great levelling opportunity from the spot after Geoffrey Ssentongo’s miss in the 49th, Odur sealed victory for former champions in stoppage time.
At Wankukuluku, midfielder Davis Kasirye scored from the spot-kick after KCC’s Richard Malinga handled in the forbidden area.
